Since its launch in 2014, the Athenian concept has been a great success attracting travellers from all over the world, and raising the bar of high-end gastronomy with its fresh, playful, warm and refined flavours. Iconic and original, Cookoovaya is coming to Côte d’Azur’s most famous fishing village, becoming the very first Athenian restaurant to establish itself outside the Greek borders.
At the heart of this colourful place there’s a pure and simple atmosphere where the chef Periklis Koskinas creates his vision of balanced, thoughtful and authentic cuisine.
Originally from Corfu, an Ionian island with a great culinary tradition, Koskinas cleverly marries his childhood foodie memories with the flavours he’s enjoyed during his worldwide travels. From France, Canada, passing though England, Scotland, Venezuela, the USA and Spain, for him, it’s the influences of these trips and encounters which make his cuisine special rather than the recipes.
Perfect in its simplicity, Greek cuisine is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the chef, the abundance and taste of the produce, the sunlight which shines on the many islands, and the beauty of the Greek architecture.
